|Mairi Wilcock RD BSc (Hons) Member of the Health Professions Council
Hi, my name is Mairi and I graduated from The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen in 1998 and have spent nearly 20 years working as a registered Dietitian in the NHS. I have gained experience of nutrition and dietetic treatments across a broad range of specialities, particularly in the areas of gastroenterology, bowel disorders and cancer treatment.
My most most recent appointment was as lead Gastroenterology/Surgery Dietitian at
Salford Royal Hospitals NHS trust, a post I held for 13 years, this included working on the trust Intestinal Failure Unit, one of only 2 specialist IF units nationally. I have participated in the training of both student and qualified Dietitans, lecturing on both undergraduate and postgraduate Dietetic courses at the University of Chester.
I believe that this approach results in my clients being happier with the changes they are making which results in more successful long term achievement and maintenance of goals.
